BITS Quark 2011, Goa

Goa again, for the 3rd time i went to goa, but this time it was just not goa but for Quark 2011, the annual fest of BITS Pillani, Goa. Most of my friends wanted to join BITS, thought one of them joined BITS Pillani, Goa but most of my other friends ended up in some other colleges.

I never thought in my whole life that i will ever go to BITS but the faith took me there. It was just not a college but all together a whole different world for the students studying there. Unlike our college they dont have attendance problem, so most of them are having 0% attendance, the boys:girls ratio is somewhere near to 100:2 so boys dont have to dress up or even care about how they are looking and on the top of whole thing, boys dont have any hostel timings and girls have to report back by 12.30 am, which is equivalent to no timings. 24 x 7 mess, cafe’s, sports and the most important Gaming. The boys over there have only limited jobs to do, they sleep, they play, they eat, they again sleep and the same activity continues for the whole 4 years.

Leaving all this, the main reason for me going to BITS was to participate in their annual fest, in which i submitted my business plan for their Quest event, i didnt won anything, but participating and clearing few rounds was more than enough for me.

Anyways, I just made this post to upload the photographs we clicked over there, i hope you all liked the pictures. :)

5 Pandav in Mandav

I can never forget the trip the day was superb. First we went to madav and then after coming home i decided to celebrate the new year in indore itself…

But would like to tell you about the whole experience.

At 10.10 am we started from Amam’ home, finally all of us were able to meet on time ( we decided 9.00 an but all are lazy-bums so according to us starting the journey at 10.10 was a great effort. ) We took the NH3 high way and went towards Mhow Cant aft Mhow we stayed on a dhaba for breakfast, i guess the name of that dhaba was ma bhavani or something related to that ( i’ve a short term memory loss problem regarding remembering the names :D ) . After that we start again from there and reached Mandav, on the journed towards Mandav, we went around 6 KM. on the wrong road, but it was ok as my friend palash told ” sirf 20 rs. hi toh lage hai koi baat nhi” and in the return sonil reacted “sirf 20 rs., aish hai toh 5 baar 20 – 20 rs. de de..” lol… Anyways after reaching mandav, we all were hungry, so thought to look for food, as suggested by Palash, who frequently comes to mandav, we went to M.P. Tourism restaurant, but the rates were pulling our jeans down, so we thought to look for another restaurant, and then finally ended up at Shivani Restaurant, its not because of the food was cheap or because the food was good, it was because they have done the best marketing in there.

After the food we visited all the Mahals, Tombs, Mosques and what ever was there, though i didn’t found anything fascinating, as nothing was left to see almost all the monuments are ruined but if i talk about the enjoyment, then this was an awesome trip, i can say that the only reason i want to be in Indore is because of my friends here and we rock.. \m/
